Draft — under legal review
dial0 is a production tool for artists, built by Subrosa Media. This page says what we do with your information, in plain language. Three commitments come before everything else:
- We will never sell your personal data or your work. To anyone. There is no advertising here and your information is not the product.
- dial0 itself will never train AI models on your work, and we will never hand your work to anyone else for training without your explicit permission — no buried default, no opt-out checkbox. When you run a generation, the third-party AI provider behind the model you chose processes your material under their own terms; we are pinning every provider lane to no-training tiers or terms before public launch, and this policy will then name each provider.
- You retain all intellectual property in what you create here. Your scripts, your images, your recordings, your edits — yours. We claim only the narrow license needed to store and display your work back to you and the collaborators you choose.
What we store
Your account: the email address you sign in with, and a name if you give one. Your content: the scripts, images, audio, and other material you upload or create in the app, kept versioned so nothing is lost. And the operational records needed to run the service: which generations you requested, when, and with what settings — that provenance trail is a feature, it’s how the tool tells you where every asset came from. If you join the waitlist or apply, we store what you submit in that form and use it for nothing else.
Who touches it
We run on ordinary infrastructure providers: hosting, file storage, a database, and email delivery for sign-in links and replies. When you ask the app to generate something, the material needed for that generation is sent to the AI providers that run the model you chose — only to fulfill your request. Today those providers handle it under their own terms; before public launch every lane will be pinned to a no-training tier or replaced, and this page will name each provider. Each processor receives the minimum it needs to do its job. We don’t share your data with anyone else, and we don’t run third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
Your rights
Ask us what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete your account and its data, and we will — contact us and a person answers. If we ever change this policy, the change appears on this page before it takes effect.
